About

I am Abdulahi Olarewaju Aremu, an applied linguist with a BA in Linguistics from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, currently reading for an MA in Applied Linguistics at the University of Ilorin.

My research spans language ideology, language in teaching and learning, learners' meaning-making in classroom interaction, educational policy and learning, the politics of language in multilingual societies, and the use of digital tools in supporting Nigerian indigenous language teaching amid limited institutional investment.

My works have appeared in the Journal of Communication, Language and Culture; TRANS-KATA: Journal of Language, Literature, Culture and Education; and the Journal of Informatics and Web Engineering.
